About Master Miguel Valdez Master Miguel Valdez has been teaching martial arts for the past 20 years. At the age of 18 he was diagnosed with Stargardts disease. By the time he was 21 years old Mr. Valdez was considered legally blind. At the time of his diagnosis and throughout the continued progression of his disability, Miguel made a choice to pursue his dreams while dealing with the obstacles that his visual loss would create. Master Valdez has won countless championships in forms and sparring. He was inducted in the U.S. Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2004. Miguel will share with the audience in a powerful interactive presentation the following: ü How to find your ability within your disability ü How he established his own Martial Arts Business ü A Martial Arts Demonstration When: Saturday, January 19, 2008 Where: Paso Del Norte Childrens Development Center 1101 E. Schuster Ave. Time: 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Cost: Free Be a recruiter.
